Pearson may be an odious cunt, but that interview was hilarious and he made Murphy (not usually the worst reporter) sound like a whiny child.

Pat Murphy (who is normally okay) was out of order... Pearson had already apologised to the local reporter with his head in the sand but Murphy was trying to escalate the story... he failed in my view and was left with egg on his face... didn't stop 5live going on about how great their reporter was though and trying to make a big deal of it.

I watched it wishing he was clever.
That line about the media putting money into football needed to be rammed back down the reporter's throat. He doesn't put a penny in, he bloody earns a lot out of it though. And the one about being manager of the month, as if that's dependant on being nice to the press.

Brilliant just brilliant. Like or loath him he has given to the press what they have been dishing out for years. Fuck the press. The line about getting good money from the media ha ha what a wanker we the punters pay for that.
Anyway he maybe a wanker but he has ruffled the press so good on him.

I like Keown but he's wrong on this. Carver will be made the scapegoat for the Newcastle performance but it's the players that are at fault. I would love to see Newcastle get relegated they are the northern version of Tottenham they really think they are something. Vile club and fans.

What got me was Dion and Keown saying hopefully the Fat Bastard stays but then saying Carver saying his players were at fault meant he was completely out of his depth and shouldn't be blaming the players. Fattardyce has been doing that for the past 10 games. All said without any sense of irony.
